d’original siomai sa Tisa
Thursday, March 1, 2007PEOPLE, stop asking me why I've put on a lot of weight. Dios mio. It's really no secret why.
See, it's because of this:
O yesiree.. that's the culprit so don't blame me. heh.
I know you want some… That's D'Original Siomai sa Tisa. No, not the Fuente ones (the siomai wrappers in those are long detached from the meat, so that's why it's not as good as the one that you buy directly from Tisa).
Last year, I got so addicted to these babies that almost every week, I'd be there, lining up with the rest of the adis-adis sa siomai.. my appetite for it cannot be satiated. I wonder what the secret ingredient is… hmmm.. singot siguro ni manang nidagayday sa halang nga sauce (in english, maybe the lady sauce maker's sweat would run down her forehead and goes directly to the sauce, that's the secret!). It's not only delish, but it's only for P6/piece. it has become one of the staple diet of Cebuanos. Already branching out to Banawa and Fuente/B. Rodriguez, D'original Siomai brand has already made a name for itself. With an especially extra hot sauce and partner it with Cebu's famous puso or hanging rice, you'll have an inexpensive and delicious budget meal. Or eating it all by itself is just as delightful.
want more?! I know you do.
PALIT IMO!
hahaha!
p.s. they should pay me for this advert. heh.

@rei
LOLZ, you had the same initial reaction as my cousin’s. she said she doesn’t like it coz it’s not cooked. haha sabi namen sa kanya it’s steamed, that’s why it doesn’t look cooked but it is.
@cary, yes, yes, yes car, mao jud na akong secret sa pagkahubag haha
too bad dili ko ka eat ug siomai karun kay First Friday man..
ge lang, ugma na pud. haha
Last Friday kumain ako ng siomai—yung mabibili mo lang sa tabi-tabi. Naalaala ko kasi yung post mo eh. I guess the siomai you’re talking about must’ve tasted better….
hahahaha….i know lami sya dai…but nothing beats Yue mu’s siomai….hehehehe….mmmmmmm…..i will bring some hopefully next week….hahahaha:)
Posted by twinklestar_anj at May 3, 2007, 12:05 amyeah!! the size of Yue Mu’s siomai are like hopia! tell her I want and NEED some so badly.

The first time I saw the pixelated photo (since the page hasn’t finished loading yet) I thought: “What’s that? Uncooked meat??) It was only when I read your post that I realized that it was siomai..
Nagutom tuloy ako… *_*
I don’t know how different this “Siomai sa Tisa” is from other siomais but my cousin cooked them for me a couple of times before and I gotta admit, “They were delicious!” Especially when you dip them in soy sauce with an added kalamansi.
Grabe… Wag mo naman akong pagutumin. On diet kasi ako eh… *drools*
